1920 U.S. census enumerated with Joseph Krupp to whom he was grand-father. Age is given as 88, born in Germany. Name appears as Christian WURTZ. In Huron County, city of Sebewaing Volume 35, Enumeration District ___, sheet 6, line___.

Paula Chodacki says the marriage was two or three years after the birth of Albertine.

Christian and Louisa Wurtz immigrated from Baierabronn,Germany in 1856.
Christian's mother Eva Klumpp Wurz died when he was 4 and a half yrs. old.
His father died when he was 11 yrs. old. He had only one grandmother, Ursula
Truk Klumpp, who died when he was 15 yrs. old. Imigrated to Crediton,
Ontario, CAN in 1856. They farmed in Crediton from about 1857 to about 1900,
and then moved to Pigeon, MI., where most of their children had settled.
Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Pedler.

Christian married Louisa Fredericka Eberhardt on 14 Apr 1856 in Baiersbronn, Schwarzwald, Wuerttemberg. (Louisa Fredericka Eberhardt was born on 16 Jan 1834 and died on 7 Sep 1907 in Pigeon, Huron, Michigan, USA.)
